Consistent workout is hard to do for certain people

It should be something common that people with high intelligence can live with the healthier habits or lifestyle.

Unfortunately something "bad" may happen where this group of people can't do consistent workout, so let's check about the phenomenon.

Moreover, regardless their broad knowledge about health, it doesn't actually help for the exercise routine to do.

Of course it's not about lack of discipline or just being lazy, it's just how they think or their habits that are different.

People who always think with more complex often face certain thing like consistent workout as a challenge.

To go deeper, there are factors that make consistency basically a harder thing to those who always think with more complex.

According to the Body Mind and Fitness, the factors can be seen from overthinking as example, where they think to over analyze before getting into action, including exercise. They can even spend more time to compare each program, find the most effective method or find additional reference. So their time and preparation already runs out before actually getting into the main "menu".

Another thing like the motivation to be as perfect as possible can also affect them.

If they have not found the suitable tool or plan, they tend to completely avoid doing the exercise.

They also have more choices from the diet program, training method or just the strategy to do in general. The problem is too many choice can also confuse them.

This is also called with the "decision fatigue" where too many options makes you choose nothing.

They may focus only the result where the consistency can play as something important even from the smallest routine they can run with exercise.

They tend to rely on motivation, not the program that is created for them. After all motivation can look fluctuate hence the result is the consistency.

The distraction is another problem, where the time for exercise is used for something else that is seen more productive.

The instant result that they want to see fast and when their training hardly shows result, then they will try to criticize it without seeing time as the crucial factor.

People with high intelligence tend to enjoy activity that stimulate their brain like reading or exploring something new. Exercise in this case is often considered as additional activity, not a need for body.

Yes their logic here can cloud their decision and they may think if exercise can become less efficient activity.

They tend to ignore the sign of body caused by the lack of exercise, from exhausted or stiff.

The key to fix it is build the right system and simplify anything that may stop them from doing consistent workout.

Ideal strategy must come and help them get better decision even start with something more simple.

No need to join with heavier program training and they can start with light exercise ten minutes per day and feel that a workout activity won't be too demanding. And of course the schedule that suits their activity so no issue whatsoever to look active.
